Scarlett Jeffries interviewed Trelawney Parks own head gardener, Julian Kay.
Although Jules has worked tirelessly to maintian the gardens, park keeper isnt his only job. Jules manages many events that go on at Trelawney Park, including Falmouths yearly Park Live Festival that happens every sunday, from April through to September. Jules is a main Host for Park Live and Co-creator with his partner Simon Neil, it was born back in 2013 on the back of a couple artists providing music for Kimberley Park association to raise money for the new playgorund and from there they saw an opportunity to advance the park and bring together the community.

Julian is also currently working on a new Project down at the lodge, the seeds where sewn quite some time ago, orginally the park keepers lodge, they decided to update it into a local cafe that welcomed the community and a community station for Source FM. “its a project taht has come to fruition and oyuve got to see htat through.” The plan is to tie Source FM with future events aswlel as park live and other music events.
